Our history
Siemerink Houtwaren - since 1932
The processing of wood has been the specialty of the Siemerink family for three generations.
With an experience that has been built up over the past decades, our employees know better than anyone what wood is, what wood does and how it behaves.

Siemerink
1932
Siemerink founded
In 1932 Siemerink started as a building company in Haaksbergen. Not much later, it specialized in the production of oak frames and sawing cutlery for the furniture industry. In this period, the production of stretcher bars was also started. The production of this by-product would later become the main specialization of the company. We are talking about the 1980s and Siemerink was then led by the second generation.
1983
New location
The family has always guaranteed the continuity of the company, and has considered social responsibility as an important part of business ethics. Within that framework, the company moved in 1983 from its location in a residential area to its current location in Haaksbergen.
As a result, the nuisance for local residents was a thing of the past. At the same time, the foundation was laid for expansion. Since 1983, the third generation has gradually taken over the management of the company and has once again provided new impetus for growth.
2006
New premises
Today countless stretchers, frames and complete canvases find their way to more than 15 countries – not only within Europe, but also in the rest of the world. Numerous works of art – abstract, realistic, figurative or impressionistic – have been made with Siemerink’s products. In addition, there are photos on countless walls that are stretched on frames or stretcher bars made by Siemerink.
A sign of confidence in the quality built up in the company’s long tradition. Trust by the painter and photo print industry, which the company is proud of.
